People Just Don't Get Psyched Anymore [Jaded]

Here's the thing about my generation.  We grew up during the Reagan and Bush administration but we weren't quite old enough to benefit from the "rich overnight" Internet boom.  We were definitely old enough to see the booming Internet industry collapse and then a recession slowly crept up on us.  It's not just the economy.  Our movies have steadily declined from when we were kids to a bunch of garbage about vampires, werewolves, and weak ass disaster movies.  

Our music has become just a bunch of trend hype on stupid "blogs", the passion and what-have-you is missing.  There's no more Guns N' Roses Appetite and Use Your Illusion era music anymore.  Things haven't changed for the better either.  It's all about how underground something is, but when it blows up everyone's quick to jump ship.  It's all a bunch of fucking hipsters, wearing the same shit down Bedford Ave, losing their mind over the new hype band on their favorite blog, thinking they're all unique because they ride fixed gears, or already abandoned that craze because it got "too cool".  In short, people just hate getting pumped anymore. Everyone is jaded and guarded.  There's no more dancing on tables, high fives, and general screams of excitement.  Bring it back like this guy does in a video taken of him spotting two rainbows and genuinely freaking the fuck out with excitement.
