Jesse Helms Dies

Ladies and Gentlemen..  Jesse Helms has died at the crusty old age of 86.  I know it's not exactly nice to curse a man who just went to his grave but I find it ironic that he died on the 4th of July.  That bastard was everything that goes against independance and freedom.  Don't get me wrong, almost all politicians are lying trash that are only there to milk money out of the American people and go one some kind of cheeseball power trip but this guy crossed the line...

I first became aware of him when he went up against Bill Weld when he wanted to become an Ambassador.  My dad used to tell me how he was opposing Bill Weld and raising hell.  I watched the nightly news and this old crusty son of a bitch was on there.  More recently I had read about him opposing abortion and hating on Gays off the hook.  The guy was a bigot and a scumbag.  He openly hated on minorities and Gays.  He didn't give a damn and had an old Southern way about his politics.  He backed people like Augusto Pinochet and Reagan, was homies with Dick Cheney, and even threatened Clinton once.  If there is a hell I hope he went directly there after taking his last hateful breath. 

 

The only people who mourn his loss are Washington spokesmen, Reagan-loving republicans, and fat Southern racist cowboys.  How did this guy live to 86 and Freddy Mercury didn't get to?  The world is an unfair place.  For more on his timely death, go here.
