Back in the day, I used to make all of these hot mix tapes for for high school girlfriend because she was head cheerleader and had no fucking clue what an "operation ivy" was.
I would go all out on my mix tape creations...I would make personalized cover art that would make Dali shiver, and would make sure that the tape flowed smoother than the Rhine and The Rhone. One day, we were making out in her room and mid HJ, I peered over to see a pile of mix tapes that hadn't even been touched.
I was totally bummed that all my hot jams were going to waste, but I was even more bummed a week later when she admitted to me that she had had sex with the singers of Everclear and 311...on their tour buses...on the same night. Life can be funny that way.
