Kimbo Slice Gets KTFO!
Tuesday, October 7, 2008 at 07:00AM This past weekend Kimbo Slice was set to fight Ken Shamrock. For those of you who know, Kimbo Slice is an internet sensation because of his brutal fights that people can't get enough of watching. He was mostly a street fighter and a backyard brawler.
Shamrock could not make the fight because of a cut he sustained over his eye. He was replaced in a huff by Seth Petruzelli. Supposedly Petruzelli was told by CBS and EliteXC that there was more money in the fight for him if he would stand up and fight Kimbo Slice. This is because if he took him down, Kimbo Slice would have inferior ground skills and probably have to tap out. It didn't matter though because Petruzelli knocked him out in 14 seconds and it's amazing to see. Peep it here.
Truthfully, his career thusfar has just been him man handling a bunch of tuna can fighters who couldn't put up a decent enough fight. None of them were really good at martial arts. They all took hard core beatings. They put him up against a martial artist and he fucking punished him quickly.
It goes to show, even though Slice had reach on him and had a bunch of weight on him he couldn't last 14 seconds against a real martial artist. Think about it next time you're talking trash to someone 50 pounds lighter than you.

I think there is a pretty good chance that this fight was thrown. He got one good punch in and that's all it took, but watch how none of his other punches landed square or even near his face. Petru got so excited he was slapping him like a girl after the first click. I'm not saying he didnt earn the win, if it was even real, but if he did, it was only that one punch that won it for him.
I'm with you on this.. it does look like he's slapping him around. It looks like the first punch landed literally knocked him out because after that he doesn't even throw his hands up to defend himself. Either way, CBS had a lot to lose if Kimbo Slice lost the fight to an underdog. That would make CBS and Elite look like a bunch of chumps (and it did).
Either way, it was pretty sensational!
