Top 5 Tom Cruise Crazy Moments
I could watch Tom Cruise all day long. Every sentence out of his mouth is like a movie trailer. It starts off soft spoken, builds to a raucous climax, and then leaves you wondering; what the hell is going to happen next?
Here are 5 great moments Tom Cruise gave to us.
1.) Textbook Tom
Tom Cruise on Oprah Expressing Love for Katie Holmes
This is Tom at his finest. Laughing, clapping, making that face you make when a doctor gives you a shot; the one when you clench your teeth and breathe in real fast and hard, right as they give you the injection.
2.) Deep-thinking Tom
Tom Cruise Gets Squirted in The Face by French Prank Show
One of my favorite things about Tom is that everything is so intense. He gets a quick squirt in the face during a stupid french bloopers show, and he acts like he's having a heart to heart with a criminal who mindlessly killed his family in cold blood.
He's so angry, but yet he's still trying to figure out "why? why!?"
3.) Crazy Tom has arrived.
Tom Cruise knocks Brooke Shields for taking anti depressants.
This video is short and sweet. It's important because this was the world's introduction to Tom Cruise's craziness. Before this he was just an intense, over the top actor. Now he's straight bat shit insane.
4.) Doctor Cruise - Follow up to #3
Tom Cruise Explains How All prescription drugs are evil.
Apparently in between flying jets with Goose and Iceman, Tom took sometime to "read up" on the history of psychiatry and the effects of every drug in the world. What is he doing wasting his time making movies? He could be curing cancer with his vitamin and exercise regiment.
5.) Pastor Tom
Tom Cruise Receives Scientology award; video leaked.
This is Tom putting all of his personalities to use. I must admit, he's passionate, charismatic, intense, unwaivering, convincing; this guy should start a cult continue running a cult.

Ha. good old dr/pastor/actor/nutcase tom. I have to admit, politely calling someone a jerk is one of the best ways to really bum someone out.
serisously. thank you for this article. i have most of these videos already saved in my youtube favs, but having them all on one page detailed out like this. i love it.
such an intense, interesting man, that tom cruise.
ima fan.
I'm not even sure if he's crazy as much as he is an extremist made worse by the fact that he has fame and money and can do what he wants. Case in point speaking out against medicating people perfectly good cause. An appropriate debate with beers and friends. But on national TV to have this argument you have got to be a little nuts.
The water spraying video wasn't crazy. He held himself well and controlled his feelings as a man. I respect him for that one.
I wish that microphone was filled with Clorox.
Nice collection, but I dare to guess that there are just four videos to prove Tom Cruise is crazy.
In the second Video he just reacts BRILLIANT.You are right, a bit of water in your face isn't that bad. But still he is right too. Beside being an actor (and as we know now, an insane Scientologist) he is also a normal man. And nobody would like to get a treatment like this in front of all the journalist and photograhpers. Especially not this one, because it really wasn't funny.
I think its funny to see how the "attacker" gets smaller and smaller.
Damn, how many people do you know, who have the guts to confront someone the way Mr. Crusie did here?
Don't get me wrong. This guy needs help, but I am sad that you depricate your own post by beein obviously predjucied.
Just 2cent from a sleepless german. (plz forgive my just average english)
Tom, on 'Letterman', told a story where he and the pilot of a plane, they were flying, cut the oxygen level off to the fellow passenger in adjoining cabin. "...not enough to kill him..." and he couldn't stop laughing about it. A jerk? Than Tom is Prick.
[addition]
at a second thought. predjudiced wasn't the right expression for my thoughts. I just wanted to point out, that you've obviously tried so hard to find 5 compromising videos of weirdo tom, that you use a video to point at his flaw, where he didnt show one.
I thought he handled the water thing pretty well, a very reasonable response in my opinion.
It's not that I thought Tom Cruise was rude to the water squirting guy. In fact, if he had simply knocked the guy out, I wouldn't even say he was out of line.
It's more that, everything he does he has the arrogance and preachy-ness about him. Like he wants to convert everyone on the spot. Instead of walking away, laughing, or even fighting back, he holds the guy's hand and demands a heartfelt answer.
When the guy clearly doesn't have an answer, it was just a blooper show, and they were pulling this stunt on a bunch of other celebrities.
im starting to think tc is a genious. he knows it is all bs but by showing such strong conviction + his fame he can bring others to the cause and hopefully do good. video #5 is pretty incredible.
Nothing in those videos really points to "bat shit crazy". He's got an intense personality. He's trying to act smarter than he is and he's misguided by Scientology. I don't agree with him but I don't think he's crazy. Psychology does have a very dark and horrible history. Remember the lobotomy? That's a terrifying procedure that was supported by the psychiatric community for a long time. Jus saying.
Scientology like much of religion is a cult.
The music in the Scientology video is a classic hypnosis composition. If you watch it once go away for a week or more and watch it again the music has remained 'with' you. Try it.
I'm all for bashing Tom Cruise. However, to call the 2nd video one of 'Tom Cruise's crazy moments' really has me calling into question your own norms / way of seeing the world.
Were you scrounging around youtube, had found 4 videos, needed a 5th, and decided 'well, hell, this will due'.
I actually think (again, this is coming from a Cruise basher) that his handling of the incident in the 2nd video (water in the face) was one of the most mature things I've seen from someone prominent in Hollywood in a very long time. He handled the situation admirably, and really showed the purported interviewer to be exactly what he was: rude, immature, and inappropriate.
God, the more I think of it: I wish more people in our culture would embrace Cruise's position. Watching individuals humiliated (or attempted to be humiliated) / filming random people being harmed / idiotic stunts caught on tape / eating nausea-inducing dishes on television: these are not things that make me proud to say 'I'm a member of the human race'
Learn to distinguish between evidence that proves your point (Cruise is crazy) vs. evidence that undermines it (Cruise is ... hell ... Cruise is a mature grown-up guy on occasion). Even if you're making a polemic, this is a needed skill, and one that is lacking in this post.
Tom is a complete douche bag. Arrogant, opinionated, and just plain bossy. Can you imagine having dinner with him and Katie???
Do you know what's in that lettuce??? I mean do you really know??? How can say you like lettuce when you don't know its molecular structure??? Well, Katie??? lol
For those trying to shed some light on the darker sides of Scientology, broadside personal attacks like this don't help and lack perception and humanity. It's like finding out that all of the people involved in 9-11 were Arab, and from then on sniggering like 13-year olds every time a Muslim walks by.
I'm 51, and when excited, I can still jump up and down on a couch (imagine filming yourself during a Superbowl game). And as others noted, if someone publicly tricked me with a squirt gun... I watch that clip and take notes on how I sure hope I'd behave. Bravo, Tom. And the over-drugging of America? Talk to most Europeans and they are aghast at how quickly we give children amphetamines to control behavior.
I think Tom is caught up cult. I'm really, really glad for sites such as http://exscientologykids.com/, because I so dislike mind control organizations. But I equally dislike it when I see indiscriminate character assasination like this. It's becoming more and more acceptable, but it still reminds me of 13-year boys, all mocking some kid in the school hallway.
The seconds clip was not connected with any "French Blooper show" but rather with the UK show "Balls of Steel." They've pulled the prank (And similar ones) on other people and they have all reacted in a much better manner, either by laughing it off or getting revenge. The latter is was most notably demonstrated by Sharon Osbourne who dumped a bucket of water of the presenter and camera operator, destroying the camera, if my memory serves me correctly.
Tom cruise seems like a better human being than most other people i see. He has real compassion for people, and he sincerely expresses that compassion through scientology. It doesn't matter if scientology isnt true. He has interesting ideas about psychiatry that shouldn't be dismissed so fast, and i fucking hate the giggling cunts who act like it was so goddamn hilarious to see him step on a fucking couch. Grow the fuck up. Scientology isn't true, but whenever someone makes fun of it just for the sake of making a cute little joke i ask them how their magic zombie carpenter is doing in the Dimension of Spirits. Think for your own fucking self and stop being hypocrites.
Tom is right about ritalin. Drugging kids that have not fully developed is crazy. Drugs should be a last resort; IE in the case of a life-threatening situation. Most all illnesses can be helped with diet/exercise. Tom is a good role modelin my opinion.
he's still a zany cultist
